Competition rules
Last updated 26 October 2026. Prepared for professional legal review; not a certification of legal compliance.
1. Promoter and scope
The Winners Club is operated by Clarkys Competitions, 171 High Street, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1EH. Contact: billyclark96@icloud.com. These rules cover genuinely free online prize draws only. Paid entries are not on sale.
2. Eligibility
Entrants must live in the United Kingdom and be aged 18 or over. Employees of the promoter, their immediate families and anyone professionally involved in administering the draw may not enter. Any additional prize-specific restrictions must appear on the giveaway page before entry.
3. Free entry and entry limits
No purchase, payment or donation is necessary. Complete the website entry form with your full name, email address and UK mobile number, confirm eligibility and accept the rules. Normal internet or mobile provider charges may apply. One entry per person per giveaway unless a different limit is clearly stated before entry. Using additional emails, phone numbers or accounts to evade that limit is not permitted.
Marketing consent, joining our WhatsApp group, following a social account, liking, tagging, sharing or attending a live broadcast are not required to enter and do not improve your chances. Each accepted entry receives a number; this does not remove the need to meet the eligibility rules.
4. Closing date and prize details
Each live giveaway must state its closing date and time (Europe/London), draw date, entry limit, number and description of prizes, any material restrictions and the delivery arrangements before entries open. Entries must be received before the deadline. If a maximum total entry limit applies, entries stop when it is reached, as stated on that page.
We do not extend a closing date because participation is low. A change is permitted only where unavoidable circumstances beyond our control make it necessary and the conditions in CAP Code rule 8.17.4.e are met. Any justified change will be explained to affected entrants.
5. Conduct and valid entries
- Use accurate details and enter on your own behalf. Do not impersonate someone or use bots, bulk entries or fraudulent methods.
- Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against or publish private information about other entrants, staff or donating businesses.
- Do not send spam or misleading claims. Group moderation is separate from giveaway eligibility; a good-faith complaint, negative review or refusal of marketing does not invalidate an otherwise valid entry.
- We may investigate suspected ineligible or duplicate entries and request proportionate proof of age, identity or residence before awarding a prize. Any disqualification must be based on a stated rule and explained on request.
6. Random draw
After entries close, the winner is selected by chance from eligible entries using a computer process with cryptographically secure randomness. Draw records are retained to evidence the selection. Each eligible entry has an equal chance. A live broadcast is not required for an entry to win; the draw date must be stated on the giveaway page.
7. Winner contact and delivery
We contact the selected winner by email within 7 days of the draw and may use their mobile number for genuine prize administration. The winner has 14 days from our first notification to respond. If they are ineligible or do not respond after reasonable contact attempts, we may select a replacement fairly from the remaining eligible entries and record the reason.
We award prizes as described, normally within 30 days of the draw unless a later date is clearly stated before entry. Any eligibility checks and claim deadline must allow the advertised delivery timetable to be met. UK delivery is free unless a material restriction is disclosed before entry. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative unless stated. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, a reasonable equivalent of equal or greater value may be offered; it is not a general right to withhold a prize.
We will never ask a winner to pay a fee to claim a free giveaway prize.
8. Winner information and optional publicity
Our Winners page normally shows a winner's first name, last initial, prize and entry number. To demonstrate a valid award, information about major prize winners (normally surname and county) will be made available on request to billyclark96@icloud.com. You may object to publication or request less disclosure before entry or after notification by emailing us. We will consider objections and provide other evidence where appropriate, but may still supply relevant information to the Advertising Standards Authority if challenged.
Photos, videos, interviews and promotional testimonials are optional and require separate permission; refusing them does not prevent you receiving a prize. We do not publish full contact details.
9. Personal data
Entry administration and marketing are separate purposes. See our privacy notice. Marketing is optional, with separate choices for email and text. Withdraw consent using marketing preferences or by emailing us; your entries and chances are unaffected. We do not give entrant contact lists to donating businesses for their marketing.
10. Fair administration and complaints
We administer draws fairly and do not make changes that unfairly disadvantage entrants. Cancellation is reserved for circumstances where a fair or lawful draw cannot reasonably proceed, not simply low entry numbers. We will explain the reason and any remedy to affected entrants. Nothing here removes statutory rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For a concern, email billyclark96@icloud.com with the giveaway name and relevant details. You remain free to raise concerns with the ASA, ICO, Trading Standards or other relevant authorities. These rules do not prevent complaints or legal claims.
